2.19 I like lists!

Sorry for the lack of picture filled posts, but life has been fairly eventful over the past month.  I'll summarize with a bulleted list:

• I quit my job.
• Yes, you read that right!!
• After over 1.5 years of looking, I finally found a great opportunity, outside manufacturing.
• I found a new job!
• It is in business process consulting.
• Yes, the "consulting" part worries me, but it is a company that does local consulting in the DC metro area and is headquartered 20 minutes from my house
• My commute when from 70+ miles per day to less than 50!!
• Sickly-ish kids
• We finally got their two year shots and had a feeling we would have some type of reaction.
• First was Tyler with a fever last week
• Now, Zach is battling something, not related to shots, running 101F+ fever for a few days.  Ugh, its hard to wake up to a kid who looks so sad and wimpers when he coughs.
• After 3.5 days of eating close to nothing, we took him to the pedi Monday morning, where they did a nebulizer treatment and told us to continue to use the inhaler.  Within 8 hours of the treatment, Zach was perking up and actually ate a few crackers.
• Today, Zach went back to the doctor who said he sounded much better and hopefully will get the rest of the gunk out of his lungs on his own.  When I saw him this afternoon, he really looks like he lost weight.  Poor guy ... 

• I'm getting a new sister in law!  Sweet!!!  Matt's twin brother Michael proposed to his girlfriend over the weekend. 
• Let me replay the conversation  Cyndi - "How'd he do it"   Matt - " Uhhhh, he didn't really say".  Thanks Matt, I'll call Lanie myself for the details since you boys suck at that!

So that about sums up why life has been fairly busy, settling in to my new job, and dealing with the guys.  Thank goodness for Matt's bank of sick leave, since I can't be asking for time off yet.

Men ... already learning to take reading material or "toys" during bathroom time!
