Not too much going on here besides trying to keep the boys entertained and not cooped up inside during the heat of the summer.
We've visited the pool with the Isaacs, where somehow our kids were more than willing to swim with Uncle Todd (Thanks, guys, for making your parents feel worthless!).
We went to a local parade for 4th of July. It was HOT and long ... I think we'll try to hit up the small evening one we did last year, since its more kid friendly while they are still younger.
We had some inside fun since it was just too darn hot and sunny to be outside!
After dinner, we have been able to let them play outside a few times too.
We have also started thinking about potty training. Before bathtime, Tyler has been quite successful and Zach has had a single success. I mentioned this to Ms. M at school that they seem to do better when they are alone and not distracted by the other guy. The next day T had three successful trips and Z had one! Now, we aren't jumping off the diaper ship just yet .... Maybe in a few months!
