We owed the Carmeans a full visit since they have been to visit us multiple times and our last visit was cut short when Meigs was injured at the kennel. We had soccer Saturday morning and then drove up after that. The fellas napped in the car so we had lots of play time once we got there.
Rose's birthday was last week so we offered to cook dinner that evening and once all the kids were sleeping, we enjoyed some beverages! We reminisced about the fun beach trip and started thinking about 2015's trip!
On Sunday we went to a local arboretum and let the kids enjoy some of the fall activities and burn off some energy. In the afternoon, we hung out at their place and just enjoyed their company. Its been awesome to have them less than 3 hour drive away instead of back in Chicago :)
