Welcome Spring!!! My tulips are almost blooming in our backyard and the weather is finally feeling like spring. This also means Passover is upon us. My planning this year was a bit lacking as my head was full of work stuff, but even with an emergency text to Matt at 10a on Saturday (we did 2nd Sedar at the house) for Matzoh Ball soup mix, all was manageable.
The Isaacs joined us and yet again, we were very distracted by the kids, but still able to almost finish our four glasses of wine! The kids loved the masks and wind up frog (must get more for next year since that was a good 10min of quiet-ish play at the table).
The search for the afikomen was interesting as Zach tripped and hit his forehead on the lego table (followed by a HUGE bump). Luckily he kept running around with an ice pack and his hair is long enough to hide the quarter size bruise. The prize this year was silver dollars ... which went over poorly. I guess my kids don't understand that they can buy something at Target Dollar Spot with that ONE coin. Maybe that is because they only ever see me use credit cards or rather boxes just appear at our door!
5 more days of matzoh .....
