November is a fairly busy month for us with fun stuff with friends on the weekends, a few mid-week activities and our first plane flight with the boys in 6 months.
Halloween was fun! The boys enjoyed dressing up and we went Trick or Treating on our street with Todd, Stacie, and Pirate Lincoln! I think it was a success all around. We've learned that tradition on our cul-de-sac is to bring out lawn chairs and sit together (with a cooler filled with wine & beer) so kids don't have to go door to door! What a fabulous idea! So Matt pulled the wagon, while enjoying a Corona, and I went with Linc to each door and tried to get our guys to say trick-or-treat, since we kept them in the wagon.
We also had the Fall Festival at their daycare. It was fun to see some of the other parents and the boys had fun enjoying snacks, cookie decorating and playing in hay!
Then we had the weekend. I belong to a online community of 200 moms of multiples from across the US, a few from Canada and one in Bermuda. There are about 10 families that are in the DC/Baltimore area and we decided to host a get together. We only had three available to attend, but with 4 sets of twins between the ages of 11 months and 23 months, that was plenty. Here was our attempt of a group kids picture!
And then ....yes there's more, I surprised my bestie Stacie with a sprinkle!! I planned this two months ago and everyone did a fabulous job keeping it quiet. We painted pottery and went out to dinner! It was a fun night and she had no clue!
Your boys' costumes are really cute. It looks like a fun night. Please spread the word to your online community about Multiples Monday on Capri + 3 so that they can join in the fun. I love the posed picture on the couch and can relate to it. It is a challenge...but the results of those pictures are often better than a traditional posed smile.
