2.11 Help please .... I did it!

As this month comes to a close, I realized that we've lived in our house for 6 months.  Craziness to me, since it doesn't feel like it has been that long, but at the same time, it feels that long.

Both guys have been saying so many new things, phrases that they repeat from me at odd times.  Here's a few things we've heard, some a few times, and others very often:
  • Help please .............(I wait to see if they figure out) ....... I DID IT!
  • Oh my gosh!
  • Thank you mommy, you're welcome mommy (without pause in-between)
  •  Backhoe! Bus!  Big Truck!  (Said with lots of enthusiasm as we drive)
  • Tyler's turn! Zachary's turn!
  • By myself! (as I try to help them complete a task)
To think that a year ago, these guys barely made any sounds besides crying is crazy.  If you remember, at 16 months, the boys' language skills were measured at 6-8 months and now, their speech is right on track!

We have tried some arts and crafts and opened some new toys ...

While sharing and helping each other has been so fun to watch, there have been some war wounds ...

I finally finished my first wreath for our front door.  I'm happy with how it turned out and hope to create more for different seasons.

On Saturday night, Matt and I enjoyed a nice night out.  It was the first time a babysitter put them to bed in a year and as far as we know, it went great!  It was in advance of celebrating our 5 year anniversary.

Again ... I can't believe that was 5 years ago. I'm a lucky girl ... (I could write tons more, but I won't bore you) ... instead, enjoy some more pictures!
