We have recovered from Chicago in time for Trick or Treating and the time change. This was the first year they understood Halloween and had a great time going from house to house. Our area doesn't go out until dusk, so we had a quick dinner, changed and took some pictures inside and headed out.
It was a bit misty the entire time and they did a great job saying "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you" and a few time, Tyler asked for "TWO". Most houses gave more than one piece, but he didn't understand that sometime they will only give one, especially when it was a FULL SIZE candy bar! Oops, we'll work on that for next year!
We had a nice weekend with dinner with the Isaacs one evening and another with the ATC families. I was doing too much chatting and no picture taking :)
I'm off to Chicago this coming weekend for dual bridal shower for my future sisters in law and Matt will be holding the fort by himself with the crazies. I hope they are better for him than they were for me on Saturday where it took me 70 minutes to get them out of their cribs, dressed, pottied and in the car for Wegmans (our every week ritual, where they eat breakfast in the car or shopping cart). I said right and they went left for over an hour. It was rough. Thanks Matt -- I am excited that between the last week's Chicago trip, this weekend and this trip, I will have seen 6 of my 7 bridesmaids! (Only leaving Laura in New Mexico, but we still chat a few times per month!!!)
