Week 22

By Cyndi
September 7, 2010

How Far Along:  22.5 weeks
Total Weight Gain / Loss:  22 lbs (or thereabouts) ... on track per the doctor ...
Maternity Clothes:  Yes & all the time!  Really, you think I could wear anything from before, with this belly??
Sleep:  No change from before ... up at least 3 times/night to pee & turn over.  Oh, and then there are those late night snacks of fruit loops!  I've even woke Matt up a few times crunching.
Best Moment of the Week:  Watching Matt & Michael run the Virginia Beach Half Marathon.  I hurried to catch the sunrise at the beach and saw them each three different times on the course.
Worst Moment of the Week:  Ummm ... starting to feel more tired from carrying around this belly.
Food Cravings:  No change.  I'm enjoying it all ... especially ice cream.
Movement:  Yup ... getting a few punches and kicks during the day and more when I lay down.  Matt hasn't been able to feel them yet, but hopefully he will soon!
Belly Button In or Out:  I do NOT want to discuss this.  I still consider it an innie, but if it decides to make an appearance, I will refuse to answer this question.
What I Miss:  Bagel with lox ... though, I wouldn't mind microwaving the lox and enjoying it that way.  Yes, I am fully aware it sounds weird, but as a child, I wouldn't eat raw fish (or what I perceived to be raw), so I would microwave it for a few and voila!
What I am Looking Forward to:  CHICAGO!!!  And fresh challah for Rosh Hashanah!
Milestones: Baby's now the size of a papaya!  Baby's settling into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day.  It shouldn't be hard to figure out when, just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.

We would like to request a poll at some point with finalist names before the babies are born, perhaps two weeks from now as a tenitive goal.
