1.26 Food isn't so bad after all!

Do I dare write publicly that we've had the best week in food to date?  Do I dare say they ate chicken nuggets, toast with peanut butter, bagel bites, two small bites of eggs, cereal from a bowl and almost all of the daycare lunches?  I know some of those foods are not the best for them, but they are new and it didn't take force for them to eat it!  Mealtime is so stressful but this week, it has been somewhat enjoyable and the thought that I might be able to take them to lunch while running errands by myself, might be a reality!

We are preparing for our first roadtrip with the guys, just a few days away.  We are heading to NY for 36 hours (literally) for a Bat Mitzvah.  This was our #1 weekend for Matt to bid off and it was completely full by the time his turn was up in round 1.  He was able to get one day off and he'll call in sick, cough cough, for the 2nd day.  It will be quick, but I am so excited for the Gimpel family to meet T&Z.  This is the first more than 1 hour car ride and first time since they have been cruising that we will be in a hotel.

Our little guys are becoming big kids.  When we show them how to do something, they remember and repeat it.  They mastered going down a slide (mind you, small kiddy slide), feet first after showing them once.  They rode like big boys on the cart at target.  And at least once every week, we get art projects home from school.  Our once 4lb guys are growing up!!
